Farewell to Guthrie, Oklahoma

What a great place to visit! Historic buildings galore, friendly locals, and we recommend Señor Lopez for fantastic Mexican fare. We are heading southwest this morning with Big Spring, Texas as our targeted destination for tonight; then, on to Terlingua, Texas tomorrow. The plan is to stay for a week and explore Big Bend National Park. For now, we pray for nice smooth roads and low wind for Mike to drive comfortably. We got the Jeep - stay tuned for an update on the Jeep situation later - to go easily into "tow mode". Fingers crossed we can get it out of tow mode - LOL. Dexter Dogg is acclimating to life on the road in a very small space. C'ya on the road from Big Spring later today with the tale of the Jeep. -Julie
