Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

This is a lovely place and very different from where we stayed in Terlingua. Both are great! We are just a few blocks from Mesilla, which is the historic district of Las Cruces. We are excited to get the e-bikes out and ride over. Mike checked out the spotted Dog Brewery (Mesilla) this afternoon - said it was pretty good! We had a little mishap with Dexter on a hike in Big Bend on the last day. He fell out of the backpack! Nothing hurt, not even a "yip" but he was quite surprised and got a snout full of sand. I'm so sorry, Dexter! Anyway, this evening we found a much better backpack - one designed for dogs at the local Petco. He will be riding in style! Once we get to spend some time really looking around, I'll be sure to post again. Tomorrow Mike will take the RV to Anthony Texas for them to do some more warranty work. I'll be working from Dunkin' Donuts - YAY - and the Hacienda's clubhouse until Mike and Dexter get back. The great thing about being on Mountain Time is I get off work an hour earlier (I'm always up early anyway). Find your silver linings where you can! 😄. C' ya on the road! Julie
