Half day of work and another trip up the scenic canyon

My boss let me take a half day off both Thursday and Friday - YAY!!! Not only was this great because we got to take more time to explore, but also, because I had been FIGHTING the lack of WiFi and trying to work. Any hoo, we decided to head back up the scenic drive, only not go as far as Presidio (80 miles one way - ugh). It was kind of cloudy but we thought we would see what we could see and maybe get some more sunset pics. Just outside of Lajitas, we saw these wild goats run across the road - there must have been at least 30! So cool, we stopped and got a couple quick shots, then meandered on up the road following the Rio Grande. I never will get tired of that - the Rio Grande!!! 😄 More lovely mountain pics. We decided not to wait until the sun set - it was cloudy and we already knew how dark that road got, so we came on back down to Terlingua in the valley. C' ya on the road! Julie
